Our Truck Drivers are primarily engaged in transporting equipment and materials to various project locations in Calgary and surrounding areas. Our Water Truck Drivers learn how to effectively promote healthy plant growth through watering and how to identify when an area is in need of extra water. All of our drivers embody a positive mindset, coupled with a strong work ethic and self-motivation, in order to keep our projects productive.
Education, experience, willingness to learn, and the ability to perform the responsibilities of your position are all taken into consideration when you apply for a position. Through regular check-ins and annual reviews, your manager will guide you on your progress and avenues of advancement. Types of Trucking Positions
Plant Watering Driver - Truck and Trailer
– Work with the logistics manager to deliver water in a safe and timely manner.
– Reliably inspect the health and moisture levels of plant material and water appropriately to encourage growth.
– Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection of vehicle systems, equipment and accessories.
– Report mechanical problems to maintenance personnel.
– Follow routes and meet delivery schedules.
– Practice safe driving at all times, adhering to traffic laws, site-specific protocols, and weather-related precautions.
– Participate in all required safety training and safety meetings. Follow safety procedures and report any hazards, incidents, or injuries as required by company policy and legislation.
Required: Class 1 or Class 3 license
Watering - Tandem or Single Axle
– Work with the logistics manager to deliver water in a safe and timely manner.
– Deliver water to sites to minimize the amount of dust.
– Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection of vehicle systems, equipment and accessories.
– Report mechanical problems to maintenance personnel.
– Follow routes and meet delivery schedules.
– Practice safe driving at all times, adhering to traffic laws, site-specific protocols, and weather-related precautions.
– Participate in all required safety training and safety meetings. Follow safety procedures and report any hazards, incidents, or injuries as required by company policy and legislation.
Required: Class 1 or Class 3 license or Class 5 with Air Brakes
Hauling - Tandem Axle
– Work with the logistics manager to deliver equipment and materials in a safe and timely manner.
– Load materials and equipment on a daily basis.
– Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection of vehicle systems, equipment and accessories.
– Report mechanical problems to maintenance personnel.
– Follow routes and meet delivery schedules.
– Practice safe driving at all times, adhering to traffic laws, site-specific protocols, and weather-related precautions.
– Participate in all required safety training and safety meetings. Follow safety procedures and report any hazards, incidents, or injuries as required by company policy and legislation.
Required: Class 1 or Class 3 license
